Overview

Estranged-stars is a three-minute Musical Animation Film. The concept comes from an ancient poem Meeting With An Old Friend created by the great poet Du Fu from Tang Dynasty in China.

“Estranged Stars” means the constellations Shen (参, Orion) and Shang (商, Antares), which never appear at the same time. The story is about two best friends get separate after enjoying a tranquil and beatific period of time. The animation uses many metaphors to portray the emotions, and finally all the memories disappeared in a cup of sake.
